EPIPHANY SERMON SERIES
This Epiphany, we are exploring the many ways God’s light calls us to live with curiosity, courage, and faith. Our sermon series, The Gifts of Epiphany, walks through the early moments of Jesus’ ministry and the ways his presence awakens something new in us.

The Gift of Unbridled Curiosity (John 1:38–42) centers on Jesus’ questions, “What are you looking for?” and his gentle invitation, “Come and see.”

The Gift of Bold Action (Matthew 4:18–23) listens for Jesus’ call to the fishermen, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people,” and reflects on what it means to leave what is familiar and step into God’s work.

The Gift of Poetic Challenge (Matthew 5:1–12) hears the Beatitudes as words that turn the world’s values upside down and bless those we least expect.

The Gift of Public Witness (Matthew 5:13–20) lifts up Jesus’ naming of us as salt and light, calling us to live our faith in ways that can be seen, felt, and shared.

Throughout this season, Epiphany invites us to notice where Christ’s light is breaking into our lives and to receive the gifts that come with truly seeing and following him.
Children's
Church
Beginning January 2026, Honea Path Presbyterian Church will launch DIG IN: The Bible in One Year, an engaging, hands-on children’s church curriculum from Group Publishing. This exciting new program helps kids experience the big story of God’s love—from Genesis to Revelation—through interactive lessons, games, music, crafts, and discussion.

Each week, children will “dig in” to a new Bible story, discovering how God’s Word connects to their everyday lives. Over the course of the year, they’ll journey through the Bible—meeting heroes of faith like Noah, Ruth, David, Esther, and Paul—and learn that Jesus’ story is their story too.

Children's
Church (Jr)
Starting in 2026, our youngest children will experience Godly Play, a Montessori-based approach to faith formation that invites kids to explore Bible stories through wonder, play, and imagination. In a calm, sacred space, children listen to stories, wonder about God’s presence, and respond creatively—helping them discover that they are already part of God’s big story.
Youth Group
Sr.
Think. Believe. Do. (T.B.D.): A dynamic curriculum created by Sparkhouse that invites teens to think about their faith, believe in what they discover, and do something meaningful with it. Each session poses a provocative question, explores Scripture, and prompts young people to live out their faith in real-life ways.

Youth Group
Jr.

Our Jr. Youth Group uses hands-on learning with Ministry to Kidz. Through six interactive series—Slime Time, Weird Science, The Great Outdoors, Fruit of the Spirit, Spiritual Habits, and Friends—our children learn that God is always with them, that faith can be joyful and full of curiosity, and that following Jesus shapes how we live, grow, and build friendships. Each lesson blends games, creative storytelling, small groups, and Scripture to help children connect biblical truth to their everyday lives.
